Relaxation & environment
Boshotel Vlodrop is situated in a unique setting. The Roer Valley and De Meinweg National Park make Boshotel Vlodrop the "Meeting Point in the Green" for good reason; a unique area for walking and cycling. The numerous cycle paths form a unique network. For example, you can easily cycle from Boshotel to Roermond or the white town of Thorn. Various cycling and walking routes are available at the hotel reception.
For a wider range of route maps, please visit Brasserie De Boshut/Visitors' Centre de Meinweg.
Discover the Places of Happiness in Roerdalen
Listen to the lapping water from the moat of Daelenbroeck Castle or look out over one of the fens in De Meinweg National Park. The municipality of Roerdalen boasts several places of happiness, offering a fun way to explore the area and discover unique local tips.
From over 200 submissions from residents of the municipality of Roerdalen, the 25 most beloved spots were selected. These so-called "Happy Spots" describe what there is to see and why they are considered a happy spot. All the happy spots have also been compiled into a comprehensive brochure, available at reception or at Brasserie De Boshut.
Daelenbroeck Castle Estate & Castle Concerts
Just a few kilometers from Boshotel Vlodrop lies Daelenbroeck Castle Estate, built on the foundations of a 14th-century castle. Here, you can sit in the Brasserie or on the terrace, and with a little imagination, you'll feel transported back to the Middle Ages. Several times a year, castle concerts are held in the vaults of the main castle. These classical concerts are truly special, not only because of the unique setting but also because of the excellent musicians. The castle is definitely worth a visit just to soak up the atmosphere and culinary offerings. You can enjoy a lavish High Tea or a delicious dinner. For more information, please visit the Daelenbroeck Castle Estate website.

MERU
Near Boshotel Vlodrop is the "Maharishi European Research University," perhaps a special attraction. Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, who died in February 2008, was an Indian guru living in Vlodrop. In the mid-1980s, Maharishi Mahesh Yogi rebuilt the partially lost knowledge of Ayurveda from the ground up and restored it to its former glory. He was also the founder of the Transcendental Meditation (TM) movement (a form of meditation). More than five million people worldwide have learned his meditation technique.

Horse riding in Limburg
A horseback ride through the beautiful nature of the Roer Valley and De Meinweg National Park is also possible. In Central Limburg, almost all municipalities have established a horse-riding and carriage network.
